Are wendy’s low-calorie options the most nutrient-dense food you can eat?
Probably not.
However, this does not mean you cannot enjoy it every now and then because there are going to be times where you have no choice or you just feel like having it.
For this reason, I wrote this article so you can enjoy the best Wendy’s low-calorie options and still keep your overall caloric intake to where it needs to be for your particular body goal.

1. Spicy Chicken Sandwich
The spicy chicken sandwich is one of the best-tasting sandwiches from wendy’s!
However, its protein content might make it even better with it containing 24 grams.
All in all, with the spicy chicken sandwich containing 24 grams of protein and being under 500 calories, it makes for a viable option when you are looking to eat fast food and keep the overall calories low.

2. Homestyle Chicken Sandwich
If you are someone who enjoys the homestyle chicken sandwich then you’ll be joyed to see this on the list.

Overall, this makes for a great choice.

Therefore, going with the homestyle chicken strips would be a great option for you, but hey who am I to tell you what to do.

Ultimately, if you are ever in a situation where all you can eat is fast food, or you simply just want it, going with the 5-piece crispy chicken nuggets is an ideal choice for you.

The grilled asiago ranch chicken club burger contains the highest grams of protein on this list with 37 grams.
However, it is also the highest calorie-wise on this list at 480 calories.
But, considering everything this is still a great wendy’s low-calorie option due to it still being under 500 calories.
Lastly, having this burger should keep you full for a prolonged period because of the macros.

9. Double Stack
When you look at the double stack, you could make the assumption that it is going to be at least over 600 calories.
However, that is not the case at all.
It’s under 500 calories and lower than the spicy chicken sandwich calorically.
Though it’s not significantly lower, it still is which may be a surprise to some.
Nonetheless, if you are someone who enjoys the double stack from wendy’s, then by all means enjoy yourself whenever the mood arises.

Last Words
So much is made of whether having fast food when looking to lose body fat is even an option.
But, as apart of an overall healthy diet, why can’t it be?
If 80-90 percent of the time you are eating nutritious foods and not overeating, what is wrong with still having some of your favorite foods and eating according to your goal?
There is nothing wrong with that.
Matter of fact, cookie-cutter diet plans are the ones that truly fail.
Anyone who suppresses cravings and doesn’t enjoy themselves in moderation is bound to binge.
This behavior is what makes losing body fat and keeping it off so hard because this idea and concept of one extreme or the other has rarely worked.
This is why I am here to tell you you can enjoy yourself in moderation. Do not go overboard and you won’t have any issues in terms of staying on track.
Taking pit stops is okay.
