1. Keep Tempting Foods Out of The House

Simply by not buying foods, such as chips, cookies, candy, chocolate, etc. you are already likely to not overeat.

When that type of food is easily accessible, it makes it that much more likely for you to let loose on it.

Therefore, by not purchasing foods that trigger you, you can increase your success in eating in a calorie deficit!

2. Meal Plan

If you enjoy meal prepping, it can help you tremendously when it comes to you not overeating and blasting away body fat!

However, if you don’t meal plan, you can still plan ahead.

How so?

By inputting some of the meals you want to have during that day in your my fitness pal!

By doing this, you will know how many calories you’ve used and what you are lacking in your day.

For example, did you get enough protein? Is your fiber too low?

This is where tracking your food can be a helpful tool for you!


3. Wait

A lot of times people eat because they have nothing better to do, so they begin snacking for absolutely no reason other then they have nothing to do.

This can be easily taken care of by simply being more aware and by waiting.

If you are truly hungry, you will know.

However, if it is a craving, you will also know.

By being aware of what is going on inside of you, you can help yourself from overeating!


4. Set Up a Barrier Between You and Food

This kind of relates to number 1 and 3 above.

But, by not bringing food that triggers you into the house you can avoid all binge eating.

Also, by being more aware, you can catch the craving arising within you.

Furthermore, by leaving pointers around the kitchen, you can help yourself as well.

For example, having a sticky note in the kitchen saying ‘are you actually hungry?’ can be helpful.

How?

Because you will be more conscious before you make a decision that can negatively impact you!

This is not to say you cannot enjoy yourself in moderation, but it is a way of helping you so you do not go over board.
