With so much misinformation out there, I wanted to give you weight loss hacks that actually work!

Simply by following these hacks that I am going to mention below, you are almost guaranteeing yourself results.

These are not my hacks per se, these are science-based and most importantly results-based.

1. Get 8-12k Steps a Day!

Do you know how many steps you get in a day?

In western society, people tend to be sitting a lot more than ever before.

This is partly because of TV’s, desk jobs, phones, computers, etc.

With that being the case, humans don’t walk around as much as we use to.

This is why it is vital to be more active and get 8-12k steps in a day.

There are a variety of ways that you can move more

You can do this by going for a walk in the evening, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, or even simply by parking further from the location you are supposed to be at.

Furthermore, to track the number of steps you get in a day, you can use your phone or get a FIT BIT.

By using your phone or getting a FIT BIT from amazon, you will know exactly how steps you have taken in your day.

If you have not reached your step count, you will know what to do.

This way you can stay active and burn more calories.

Just think, if you burned 1 extra calorie a minute per 8 hours. That is 480 calories!

It all adds up!


2. Weight Train 2-4x a Week

Looking to lose weight easily and properly?

Are you also looking to get leaner and tighten up your body?

Then weight training is the way to go.

Nothing, and I mean nothing will get you results more efficiently and effectively then proper resistance training.

Why is that?

Because when you weight train your body becomes a calorie-burning machine.

When you add more lean muscle, you burn more calories at rest.

Furthermore, your body tightens up all the areas you have always wanted.

Therefore, when talking about weight loss hacks, weight training is definitely one!

One of the greatest fat loss hacks, weight training!


3. Cut Calories!

This weight loss hack is absolutely crucial for you to lose weight and body fat.

Without being in a calorie deficit you cannot lose weight.

It does not matter if you go on the greatest diet this world has ever seen, if you consume more calories then you burn, you will not lose weight.

It does not matter if you eat keto, paleo, vegan, or any other diet.

Calorie Deficit is THE KEY

4. Eat More Protein

Protein may be the fastest way to help you lose weight.

It is such an important macronutrient when it comes to fat loss.

How?

Because by consuming a high protein diet you will not only be feeling full for prolonged periods, but you will burn calories when breaking your food down.

Yes, that is right, you burn calories by simply eating high protein foods.

I won’t get into major detail about it because I wrote about it in my blog post how protein helps with weight loss that you can read.

However, I will mention that your body burns 25-30% of the calories trying to break the protein down.

Amazing right?

Other great benefits include helping you put on lean muscle and helping you recover from training sessions.

By eating a high protein diet, you can guarantee yourself success in your fat loss journey!


5. Don’t Drink TOO Much Alcohol

Unfortunately, when you are looking to lose weight, getting hammered is probably not going to help you lose body fat quicker.

If the amount of drinks you have gets high enough, you can actually stop yourself from burning body fat.

What do I mean by that?

Essentially when you drink too much alcohol, your body thinks it’s in starvation mode.

Therefore, when you eat on top of the drinking your body stores everything as fat because it does not know when food is going to come again.

So how many drinks would be ideal?

Probably about 2-3 would be optimal.

Research shows that anything more stops muscle protein synthesis and again, your body stores everything as fat.

For this reason, having 2-3 drinks is A-okay.

However, it gets dangerous when you go past that, especially for your fat loss goals!

A great fat loss hack is to cut the amount of alcohol you drink


6. Eat Foods High in Fiber

Eating more fiber is one of the most underrated fat loss and weight loss hacks out there.

Fiber helps with removing environmental toxins out of your body AND helps regulate your blood sugar levels.

What also makes fiber so great is that it helps with satiety a lot.

When dieting this is super important because you want to stay full for long periods.

For this reason, consuming foods high in fiber and in stir fry’s can be greatly helpful.

Some form of protein and high fiber veggies can help you lose weight easier because you won’t feel like over-eating!

7. Relax

You may ask ‘what does relaxing have to do with the weight loss hacks?’

A lot.

The amount of people who eat when they are stressed out is enormous.

People react to the emotional pattern of stress and begin to let it affect them deeply.

What happens when they let it take over them?

They look for foods that give them some form of ‘comfort’

This could be chips, cookies, ice cream, candy, you get the hint.

Foods that are high in calories and low in satiety.

When you give power to stress it takes you for a ride that you do not want to be on.

But, there is a way to step out.

What is that way?

Simply by becoming present and relaxing into the NOW.

By doing this you won’t be feeding the emotions and thought patterns the energy they want.

You simply watch and observe the pattern and root yourself into the NOW.

By doing this, the energy of stress will eventually dissolve.

You can save yourself from consuming extra unnecessary calories simply by relaxing and not reacting to negative emotional thought patterns!

By applying the weight loss hacks mentioned above, you can guarantee yourself some great results.

There is one more important factor in dieting successfully though, make it a lifestyle.

Simply by changing your perspective and making fitness apart of your life and not making it your whole life, you will be successful.

These fat loss hacks do not require you to make extreme changes, nor am I saying you cannot enjoy yourself in moderation because you can.

What I am saying is just enjoy your life and the fitness journey you are on or about to embark on!
